About the Game:

This game was created in 48 hours for Texas Game Jam 2024. After saying to myself that I wouldn't have this be a repeat of this year's Chillennium, I immediately did the exact same thing again and spent most of Saturday doing nothing, and probably only spent about 8 hours on this game in total. This game was designed for two players. 

The Story:

Ampierre and Ohmalley are a pair of robots sent to explore an ancient ruin. Together, they can create a high-voltage surge of electricity between them which can destroy enemies. They have several interchangeable heads which can be used to vary their attacks. Collect as many gems as possible before you succumb to the ruin's guardians.

The Controls:

Player 1:

• Arrow Keys to move
• N to attack
• M to detach head

Player 2:

• WASD to move
• F to attack
• G to detach head

Either player:

• R to restart
• F1 to reset game if needed

Tips and Tricks:

• If your partner dies, you can give them a jump-start by throwing a head to them.
• The Plasma Globe head is a powerful tool for dealing damage, but the orbs themselves do not deal any damage, only the electricity they create. The orbs shatter if they hit your partner; move carefully to keep them airborne for as long as possible.
• While infested enemies are tougher to deal with than their non-infested counterparts, they yield triple the amount of points. If an enemy comes into contact with a spider, it will become infested. Brutes cannot be infested.
