Full Name: Dr. D. Structo, and his Incredibly Contrived Plot to Take Over the World by Creating a Device that can Combine Two People’s DNA into One and then Having Them Duel to Determine Who is Worthy!

About:

Dr. D.Structo is a two-player platform-fighter where you combine the abilities of two different characters, straight down the middle. Each player has a left and a right half, which have different attacks. The objective is to damage your opponent until they start smoking, then launch them into the electric barrier to eliminate them for good!

The game can be played with keyboard and a controller, though an Xbox controller is HIGHLY recommended. I cannot guarantee that the game will work with non-XInput controllers. Default keyboard controls are kinda strange, but hopefully shouldn't be too terribly unwieldy. If needed, they can be rebound by editing the config.ini file in the game's appdata directory, if you really want to...

The Controls:

Controller:

• Joystick or DPad to move
• Face Button 1 [A on Xbox controller] to jump
• Face Button 3 [X on Xbox controller] to lock in (prevent turning, block attacks during first 5 frames of button being held)
• Left Trigger to use back attack
• Right Trigger to use front attack

Keyboard (Player 1):

• WASD to move
•  X to jump
• C to use back attack
• V to use front attack
• B to lock in

Keyboard (Player 2):

• Arrow keys to move
• P to jump
• I to back attack
• O to front attack
• U to lock in

The characters:

Each character has their own ability, which helps you weaken your opponent or get them into the blast zone:

• Mr. Whammerhammer - Hammer Strike: A hammer which hits on both the down and up swings. The upswing launches up while the downswing launches forwards.
• Pyromanny - Fireball: A fireball which bounces along the ground. You can have two onscreen at once, for optimal zoning.
• Janitor Leon - Sudspray: Spray bubbles which coat the floor in slippery soap. The bubbles are also incredibly effective for keeping things in the air, but not getting them up there.
• Reflecta - Hyper Reflector: A laser which bounces off of walls. Each segment counts as its own hit.
• The Nose Feratu - Peeperang: Throw an eyeball which returns to you. If you can position yourself well, it can get some frankly absurd knockback.
• Atomic Blast Man - Atomic Blast: Release a massive explosion which damages everyone on screen, including you! Use it to catch your opponent off-guard and speed up the fight.

Advanced tips and tricks:

• Your Lock-In button also lets you parry, with a 5-frame window. Parry an attack to ignore all damage and refresh your cooldowns, or parry a plasma beam to potentially save your life. You can also parry the floor to stop yourself early when launched. That's gotta hurt your hand, though-!
• You can influence your knockback by holding left or right on the control stick, to hopefully get yourself into a better position.
• Pyromanny, Leon, and Reflecta's projectiles can be aimed by holding up or down. 
• If you use Hammer Strike while moving, you can catch opponents in the hitbox for much longer, dealing massive damage.
• Hammer Strike prevents you from turning around while it's held out, be careful!
